After a first season that gained a cult following, bling dynasty is back. And this time around, the cast is bigger than ever. The show follows a group of ultra-rich Asians and American Asians as they live out their lavish lifestyles. The new season of the hit Netflix series premieres on May 13 and will feature a number of returning faces as well as two new ones. Reality star Dorothy Wang and social media influencer Mimi Morris are the two newcomers to the cast.
Most of the cast from season one will return for season 2. They include property mogul Kane Lim, philanthropist Christine Chiu, denim heiress Cherie Chan and DJ Kim Lee. Also in the mix is entrepreneur Kelly Mi Li, who made headlines for her tumultuous relationship with Power Rangers actor Andrew Gray. Mi Li told TODAY that she’s ready to show a “funnier side” to audiences this season.
DJ Lee, who is described as Asia’s Calvin Harris, will also be a prominent character in this season of the show. The half-Vietnamese former model has walked the runways of Paris and New York and graced international covers of magazines like Maxim. She also helped her fellow cast member, Kreider, search for his biological father on the first season of Bling Empire.
The newest additions to the show are a pair of wealthy business women. Wang, a billionaire who heads a real estate firm in China, and Morris, who’s also an influencer, both make their debut in season two.
