Offered is a truly gorgeous (even nicer in person) Antique Old European cut 3 stone diamond engagement ring. This ring could possibly date back to the early 1900’s (1920’s?). The diamonds look as though they may have been hand cut a long time ago…and the faceting is just brilliant! The clarity of all three old cuts is eye visibly top notch, you can see right through the diamonds to the open cutlets…the sparkle is phenomenal! I call these two-tier diamond cuts as they exhibit the higher crown and deeper depth, this really allows for a tremendous amount of light to reflect through these old diamonds. This 3-stone Antique treasure is perfect for an engagement or right hand ring, a true historic heirloom piece. Total diamond carat weight looks to be somewhere in the .70-.75 range (.35-.40 center stone, .175-.18 side stones). There are no eye visible black carbon spots or cloudiness to distract from the beauty and charm in this piece. Current ring size is a 7 1/2 and should be sizable by your local jeweler if need be by up to two sizes, without effecting the integrity of the band. The hallmark is 18k & platinum (two-toned: 18k yellow gold for the band and the old cut diamonds are set in platinum). Note that due to the age of Antique rings it is not uncommon for heirloom pieces to exhibit microscopic or tiny inclusions due to age. I am unable to locate such inclusions as I am not a jeweler, however, I always note if there is a flaw that is eye visible or a carbon spot which would effect the beauty of any of the pieces listed. Thank you! Sales are final & returns are only accepted in the case that an item is not as described. Thanks!
